About our guest instructors:
Katie has been teaching Hatha yoga for 10 years in the Lake Geneva area. When not on the mat or teaching middle school, Katie can be found hiking, gardening or spending time with her family. She views yoga as a way to slow the mind and return the body to a more peaceful state. Katie integrates stretching, conditioning and strengthening into every practice to create balance in the body, mind and spirit. She believes yoga will meet you where you are at, in the moment, knowing each practice offers a different experience. All levels welcome and encouraged!
Frank Whiting - Yoga Lake Geneva
Frank has been practicing yoga for 25 years and began teaching in 2013. He is the owner of Yoga Lake Geneva and has taught > 2,000 hours. His Dogwood classes will begin with a quiet centering, flowing mindfully through a gentle warm up before moving through a series of standing postures. We’ll culminate with some fun balance work before returning to the mat for finishing postures and savasana. The practice will be designed to meet the student where they are, with an underlying emphasis on connectedness.
Gretyl Rabe - Fit N Faith Fitness, Delavan
Gretyl specializes in teaching YogaFaith. These classes are Christ-centered and designed to benefit the whole person: heart, mind, body, and soul. We welcome you to to lay aside all distractions, chaos and clutter to experience the peace, freedom, balance, and rest through Jesus. You can expect a combination of scripture, prayer, breath work, and basic yoga postures with gentle flow to release tight muscles while building strength and stability leaving participants feeling recharged and rejuvenated.
