A Craft Breakfast Meets Small-Town Vibes
If you follow Dogwood, then you’ve probably heard Chris and I talk about Jaime’s Cafe in historic downtown Delavan.
It’s hands-down the best breakfast we’ve ever had (and a pretty darn great lunch spot, too!).
Chris and I are foodie people, which means we have high standards for our breakfast spots.
We want fresh food, good coffee, and great service in the morning and Jaime’s Cafe hits all three.

Only the Freshest Ingredients
My favorite part about Jaime’s? The food is truly fresh - not pre-cut or canned. Just whole, fresh ingredients hand cut by Jaime himself.
When ordering at a breakfast spot, I want a killer skillet that doesn’t leave you feeling heavy or sleepy when you’re done (and their Veggie Supreme Skillet fits the bill!)
I feel full, healthy and ready to start my day when I leave - something that is important when you’re running a farm!

A Selection to Indulge In
On days when we are looking to indulge, Jaime’s always rises to the occasion.
Their delicious crepes, pancakes and waffles are a decadent treat that I’m surprised don’t have a cult following yet.
Our favorite sweet item is their Strawberry Tres Leches French Toast - it really is the best French Toast we've ever had!!
Pro tip: a half order is perfect to share on the side!

Tips for your visit
If you’re planning on making a visit soon, here are some tips from their regulars!
It’s a small restaurant, so they reserve their booths for larger parties and fill their tables first
If you’re ordering lunch, ask for a side of Jaime’s homemade ranch - it’s droolworthy
They are the busiest during the after-church rush on Sunday (10:00am - noon), so coming a bit before or after that makes getting a table easier
If you come to Jaime’s on the weekends, you’re likely to see Chris, Everett and I there in the wild eating our favorite skillets. Make sure you stop by and say hi!
